Q. Who is ILD?
A. Similar to the way Visa® and MasterCard® process credit card payments on behalf of merchant customers, ILD is a billing clearinghouse that processes phone billed transactions on behalf of merchant customers.
Q. Why am I being billed by ILD?
A. You or someone in your household may have signed up for services through one of our merchant-customers. If for any reason you disagree with the charges or have not been able to resolve questions to your complete satisfaction, we want to know. Please contact us and we will help you find resolution.
Q. When is Customer Service available?
A. We have customer support specialists available from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Central Standard Time Monday through Friday and between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. An ILD associate will research the telephone bill to investigate charges and help resolve any problems.
Q. How can I find out who my service provider is?
A. The name of your service provider should be listed under ILD Teleservices on your phone bill. Usually, it states “ILD Teleservices. Billed on behalf of…”
Q. What services does ILD provide?
A. ILD provides payment processing and clearing through its bill forwarding operations on behalf of its
merchant-customers. Our customers include communications providers, digital merchants, internet service providers, information and entertainment providers and other enterprises.
Q. How does ILD protect consumers?
A. ILD’s merchant-customers are responsible for their own customer marketing and acquisition, however ILD is intolerant of cramming, as evidenced by its firm policies. ILD adheres to a strict set of procedures to ensure its merchant-customers are operating in an ethical and straightforward manner that best serves the consumer. ILD continually refines its procedures to ensure the consumer is better protected.
